Black Widow by CrystalGraziano Black Widow by CrystalGraziano
Brand new costume time~!

I decided to do Black Widow the Monday before PMX--always with the last minute costumes! It was my first time making gloves from scratch.

Character - Black Widow

Photo - :iconmikerollerson:

Bodysuit, gloves, boots - made be me
Belt and wrist cuffs - made by my husband

This picture should be shown anytime someone makes a comment about how unrealistic the proportions are of women in comics. They may be RARE proportions to be sure, but they are some notable exceptions, such as yourself. Wow! Give your husband a high five from me. He'll know why. Man-code.

Wow, this comment disregards the cosplayer completely.

I don't think so. I didn't mean to "disregard" her as it relates to respect. That wasn't my intent. I think she looks beautiful in her costume...like she came right out of a comic book. I respected the fact that she was married and gave a compliment where I acknowledged how fortunate her husband was to have such a beautiful spouse. She obviously is as talented as she is beautiful to make such a great costume and bring the character to life. There are certainly other comments on this picture that better warrant your apparent objection.

I don't object to compliments, yours was up top and the only one I read. I knew the comment section was full of nothing but horny fanboys, I don't even know why I bothered replying.

Im not sure why you did either. Reading the attached comments of a photo of a woman in skin tight leather and high heels, you will definitely be disappointed with the level of comments. "Nothing but horny fanboys"? Is it okay for a woman to dress sexually provocative? Does that make her an attention horny fan girl? No? Why not? The double standard you are trying to impose is ridiculous. Had this been cosplay of a character with a muted appearance as related to sexuality, then your comments would surely have been warranted. But as it stands, they weren't. My apologies to Crystal for this random philosophical distraction of a debate. I'm done. No disrespect to you either Dalidarling, I'm just stating an opinion.

I'm sorry my statement was so general. I didn't mean for it to sound like a double standard. Girl get their panties riled up from this beautiful woman. Men get their undies riled up from this beautiful woman. Both genders find her attractive. She's beautiful, sexually.  This isn't a philosophical debate, don't get ahead of yourself.

" Give your husband a high five from me. He'll know why. Man-code." This is not a double standard, sir? Man-code. You won't get since you're a woman.  That just made you argument about my "double standards" invalid.
